SRAM is an adaptation of the original Norwegian teen drama series SKAM from 2015, which explores themes of adolescents' emotional development through the lens of social realism.
Through the character of 16-year-old Eva, her boyfriend Jakov and their mutual friends and rivals, the first season explores universal themes present in teenage teenage life: love, friendship, sexuality, social status and acceptance, and also touches on the problems of mental health of young people.
